SPARTAN STRONG
Local voters have approved a plan to invest in our schools. Thank you to everyone who voted and made their voices heard!
On Feb. 8, 2022, Nashwauk-Keewatin district residents approved a plan to build a new PreK-12 school and adjacent wellness center.
QUESTION 1
Should N-K build a new PreK-12 school?
(Voters had the option of approving Question 1 without Question 2).
QUESTION 2
Should the new school include an attached wellness center and walking track?
(Question 2 couldn’t pass unless voters also approved Question 1).
While neighboring school districts have made substantial investments in their school facilities to improve and modernize student education, our community hasn’t made a significant investment in our schools in several decades.
N-K’s new school will support modern education programs and curriculum, provide a healthy and safe learning environment, produce energy savings, and reduce maintenance costs. Explore the website for more information about the plan, how it was developed and the latest construction updates!
